At The Salvation Army – Surrey Ministries, the community is at the heart of everything we do. Every meal served, every family supported, and every life encouraged is made possible through the generosity and partnership of people who care about their neighbours. When individuals, organizations, and businesses work together with a shared purpose, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.
Over the years, we have been deeply grateful for the steadfast support of local businesses and community groups that share our commitment to helping others. Organizations such as the Rotary Club of Surrey, the Rotaract Club and the Surrey Police Service (SPS) have consistently stepped forward — volunteering their time, contributing resources, and championing our mission throughout Surrey. Their dedication demonstrates how service-minded leadership can inspire others and strengthen the social fabric of our city.
Local businesses have also played an important role in supporting our programs and outreach efforts. Community partners such as Walmart on 88 Ave. and Prakash's No Frills have been our longtime partners, providing us with food donations for our weekly food distribution program. The Canadian Tire on Scott Road has also contributed in meaningful ways, including their participation in our Back-to-School program, 2025 Kettle Fundraising Campaign and Kettle Kick-off event. Their involvement not only helped raise essential funds but also brought greater awareness to the growing needs within our community.

Through these partnerships, we can expand our reach and continue providing vital services, including food distribution services, seasonal assistance, and emergency support for individuals and families experiencing hardship.
